Greetings!

How is everyone?

For starters, if you haven't already, check out the official website for the LBHS Class of 99 website:

It's still under construction, so bear with us. Once it is operating at 100% I'll be sending the updates through there. In the meantime, we'll continue to use Facebook. HUGE THANKS to Elijah Loeffel on taking on that task.

Well, more good news all around. The Maison Jardin has prepared a custom menu of amazing food for us, and we have a final ticket price of $50 per person. We will start selling tickets in the next few weeks, most likely through a PayPal service we're setting up on the website. More kudos to Dan Benoit for his awesome work there.

Next up, we have a few hotels in the Altamonte area at discounted rates for those who are interested. Let me know if you'd like more information.

Rounding out the thank yous, Nicole Gerlin (formerally Tomczak) has an amazing group putting together some events following the reunion on Saturday afternoon and evening. Keep an eye out, we'll
have more info in the coming weeks.

January 5th Update (via Facebook)

Greetings classmates!

Well, I have nothing but good news. We now have an official date, time, and location for our 10 Year Reunion.

Thanks to Dan Benoit, and White Rose Entertainment, we have secured the Maison & Jardin restaurant for Friday, October 16, 2009 at 7:30pm. They are located on Wymore Road not far from the Altamonte Mall. You can check out their website here:

Now before you get concerned, we all know money is short these days. We have a very close relationship with the Maison & Jardin, and we\'re working on a custom menu that will provide a balance between cost and style. Have no fear, folks. This is going to be one for the books.

We also have relationships with several area hotels. We\'re looking into arranging discounts for those coming in from out of town. If you are one of those people, please post a comment on the wall of the event page and let us know. If we don\'t hear from anyone, we won\'t bother.

Unfortunately, we haven\'t had anyone come forward to handle the website. We\'re looking at putting something together ourselves. It won\'t be as pretty as we would have liked, but we think it will do the job quite well.

We\'re hoping to have an official ticket price and basic menu by the end of January. We also are looking to have the website up, and have a place where we can start accepting photographs for a slide show.
